Something You Should Know About Me: The Hero Of My Own Stories Raja Muhammad Mustansar Javaid
Why I do what I do, and my vision of life
Hello medium world!! pleased to meet you here. I’ll just start of by saying welcome! I’m glad you decided to spend even one iota of your time checking my profile out! I’ll stop wasting your time and get to the nitty gritty!
I don't know where to begin my story, who I'm because I am many things. I have to describe myself through the beautiful song " "The Story" by Brandi Carlile" which is my most favorite song and listening to this song and thinking about how these lyrics helped me understand who I'm and what it means to love myself and Her voice is so inspiring, uplifting and also full of emotions. this song manages to create a feeling in my heart I can't even describe. If someone asked me to describe myself, I would send them this.
The story behind "The Story"
Inside the song: "The Story" by Brandi Carlile - Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers | Words and music
Brandi Carlile's breakthrough song "The Story," the title track of her 2007 album, sounds intensely personal, even…
“The closer you come to knowing that you alone create the world of your experience, the more vital it becomes for you to discover just who is doing the creating.”
Eric Micha’el Leventhal
So Who am I?
And how do I begin finding the answer to this question?
Well, every day I wake up and ask myself this important question frequently, how can I express myself such that Who even am I on the outside matches who I am on the inside? Yet, it is one without a simple answer; I don’t have an answer to that just yet because the answer is always changing or it stays the same, I never know. I probably think I’m different than I am. I know more about who I am today than I did yesterday who knows me better than myself, but who I am will continue to change.
“Your opinions about me do not change who I am.” Lailah Gifty Akita, Think Great: Be Great!
“Start with yourself. Take care of yourself. Define who you are. Refine your personality. Choose your destination and articulate your Being.” Dr Jordan B Peterson
This bio story is to give you a better sense of who I am and also you could know about my interests and experiences.
Albert Einstein quote in which he described myself as
“passionately curious”. He told me my thirst for knowledge and desire to research everything reminded him of this.
I’m Raja Muhammad Mustansar Javaid, but you can call me Mustansar or MJ. I'm a technology evangelist, traveler, writer, fitness addict, an avid reader of interesting things, and a polyglot. I’m an enthusiastic language learner and also a new a new technology and experimenter.
Without getting too deep into my childhood, I grew up pretty normal in a middle-class home. My dad worked for the Pakistan army and my mom is a housewife but she is a creative mind person and has many skills.
I live in Islamabad a few minutes’ walk from the old Islamabad international airport, but I was born in Jhelum, raised in Rawalpindi. The capital of Pakistan is Islamabad, which is known all over the world as a naturally beautiful city with such ugly architecture. My heart will always be there — in “my pind ( Village)”, my Jhelum. I hold a Bachelor of Technology in electrical and a Bachelor of Science in computer sciences. I have done some technical courses in IT and telecommunications.
What does a Technology Evangelist do?
Being a Technology evangelist! For the last few years, I’ve been working as a Network Engineer in various companies with emerging digital technologies, helping others get through problems and foresee future opportunities they need to succeed. I have tried various things to occupy my creative talents when I am not at work. Being a technology evangelist suits me best. I try to learn in my free time.
My Journey to Became An IT Tech Engineer
The modern world is full of wonderful things, endless opportunities, and possibilities, never give up. Open the doors…
In addition, I’ve been able to acquire soft skills along the way, which have benefited me both in my professional and in my private life.
Writers are one of a kind in themselves lost in their own world with a pen in hand most of the time. I think a writer write with a purpose and for those who cares to read and for those who are looking for answers.
Being a writer is like having homework every night for the rest of your life. Lawrence Kasdan
As a child, I always dreamed of being a published writer. But as life progressed, I have written less and less due to work and social commitments. I still have quite a stack full of incomplete stories in my EverNote app’s notebook.
I started writing for Medium around January 2021 and I would like to write when I have free time… whatever that is. I like to write a poem, now I also write an article as well. Writing is a medium through which my soul expresses itself. But, sometimes I am afraid to write. Somehow, I write. It’s always better to express your heart rather than locking it and keeping it away, hidden in the runes of time.
I have over 150 plus poems on allpoetry.com and some articles on medium. I’d never been much of a writer. But I soon discovered there was a crap ton of stuff going on inside me that needed to be processed and Being a writer is enjoyable when you find your writing groove. Writing helps us to find who we are. So, I write with a curious and open heart.
As an urdu speaker, I am not good at writing, partially because I could write in poor English and am new to self-publishing. it will take me few time to improve my writing skills. i spend five to seven hours writing 200 to 300 words. With time, I learned how to write on different topics.
I went through that experience once and regretted for feeling not being read. Because at the end of the day, it is about fulfilling your desire of being a writer, be it published or unpublished.
Personally, the best part about the medium platform is its versatility and the opportunities it creates for writers to connect and work together.

Explained Everything With A Mind-Blowing Concept & Purposed
Being a polyglot and pro-active language learner is outstanding. I can speak four languages and interested to learn more in the future. I’m confident in helping other language learners.
To have another language is to possess a second soul . Charlemagne
I love to listen to music in other languages. It’s useful. It’s fun. I think you learn a language best by living somewhere where you can use it constantly. Once you’ve learned a second language, it gives you the confidence you can do it again. Currently, I am learning Turkish and somehow I want to learn basic Portuguese. We speak Urdu in Islamabad but when I’m in Jhelum I always speak pothwari, automatically.
Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going . Rita Mae Brown
I would say that polyglots have many advantages such as confidence, persistence, knowledge of how to learn a language and the confidence to not be intimidated by learning another language, and also the mindset to be okay with sucking at a language, as one does at the beginning of the process.
If you speak to someone in a language he understands, it goes to his head. If you talk to someone in his own language, you can reach his heart. Nelson Mandela
I really love to learn languages as well as meeting people from different countries and backgrounds and discover new cultures. I am keen on making new friends around the world. My principle here is how we can get along with other friends in a polite manner without any misunderstanding and hurt each other.
The limits of my language are the limits of my world. Ludwig Wittgenstein
Being Bike Traveler:
Travelling is not just an experience, it is something far ahead and above that. You try to meet full-time travelers and just the sight of their eyes will show you how happy and satisfied they are from deep inside. Travelling can nurture your world in such a beautiful way that you will simply find yourself pleasantly shocked by its beauty. Traveling won't change anything. But once you come back your thinking will be changed .
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” . Saint Augustine
Of course, I’m a traveler. Because I want to explore the world. Whenever I go anywhere, I am not only eager to see the related sights rather I’m more interested to find something interesting that is not available in the sightseeing guidebook.
“Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”. Gustave Flaubert
Although, i really appreciate people who talk to me. So i met various persons and knew different kinds of truths in these journeys. I also explored the places nearby where I went and saw some priceless beauties. After talking to so many people, I realized that my problems are nothing in comparison to what they are dealing. It made me humble and hardworking. All these things have carved out the traveler inside me.
“Like all great travellers, I have seen more than I remember and remember more than I have seen.” . Benjamin Disraeli
Travel more. Have a good attitude, consider the various delays and inconveniences that come along to be part of the adventure.
Discovering myself one day at a time
As far as I know, we all are looking for meaning in our life. Reason for our existence. Hobbies & Passion provides colors to our lives, without them life would be just Black and White with “No Smile on the Faces, no enjoyment, just zombies will remain of us”.
Hobbies are something that enhances one's inner abilities. They are the things which let you be the one you want to be and also there’re directly dependent upon availability of some time, squeezed out of one’s busy daily routine.
We do not develop anything with one giant step. No matter who you are, or what you do, each one of us had had to take a lot of individual steps to accomplish a task, a job, a career, or even a hobby. Each step serves to move us forward even if it is an inch at a time. Catherine Pulsifer
I have time for my interests and hobbies, like reading, writing, watching documentaries and TedTalks, traveling, and listening to different music. I’m really interested in books and articles (especially literature and self-development).
We should make some time in between and organize our life, relax ourselves and spend more time with our family, friends, and pursue our own hobbies. Robert Gallagher
I am spending way too much time on YouTube, Medium, TedTalk, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter because there are a lot of more interesting things to learn from there. It also means I had more time for learning, and when I discovered Medium and TedTalk a few months back, it was a bonus as there are so many interesting and varied subjects to view and comment on.
Today is life — the only life you are sure of. Make the most of today. Get interested in something. Shake yourself awake. Develop a hobby. Let the winds of enthusiasm sweep through you. Live today with gusto.” Dale Carnegie
I am also passionate about recycling in fact if I were to attempt to create an overall theme of my existence it would be that… I recycle unsold. I don’t waste anything. All the leftover food I give away the next day to birds and animals.
Happy is the man who can make a living by his hobby. George Bernard Shaw
I like to talk about everything, but history, entrepreneurship, arts, human interactions, culture, and music are my favorite topics! and share new experiences.
There is no better confidence or self-esteem boost than learning a new skill, trade, piece of software, or even a new hobby. It will give you that sense of accomplishment we all like to experience.” Christopher Epstein
One of the best things you can do for yourself as a young person is to think deeply and formulate your own ‘philosophy of life. Your philosophy of life is a framework, heuristic, or prism through which you view life. It helps you stay consistent in your life decisions, helps you influence others, and prevents you from living someone else’s life hook, line and sinker.
“Your philosophy of life is like the thesis you write after you have taken the time to study yourself. It is the one-sentence explanation for every decision you make”.
A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not.” Seneca
Philosophy of life is that life is a rare chance to make a positive difference in the world and to do something you would be acknowledged for. But not on the cost of your dignity and self.
Life without experience and suffering is not life. Socrates
I live my life to the simplest, my philosophy of life is unique, simple, and straightforward but very significant. I have some simple philosophies in my life which are important for me because the purpose of life is to be happy. That is what life is meant for. I would love to share.
The secret of happiness, you see is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less. socrates
My philosophy of life is simple:
I believe that If you treat me well, rest assured that I will treat you better
I believe everything happens for a good reason.
I believe that trying new things and going on adventures. I love traveling but also enjoy having a place and a family to call home.
I believe that When I keep the people around me happy, this environment will always ensure my well-being and happiness.
I believe that do good for others, even if they don’t return the favor because my account is with Allah almighty, and I only owe to almighty for everything.
I believe that judge less love more. Everybody has a reason for doing what they are doing.
I believe that Know yourself; discover personal truth. The truth will set you free.
I believe that positive something is better than negative nothing.
I believe that Learn something new every day.
What I have stated above, is not rocket science or some complicated philosophy. They are just simple life lessons I learned from my experiences. To me, these philosophies have opened the world to me. It may or may not apply to you. But my point is always derived your own lessons from life, do not let others define your life for you.
I will not discuss my lifetime Goals here. But I am very much committed to my lifetime goal, I want to achieve it before I die. I divide my Lifetime Goals into three different parts like Daily tasks, Short Goals, and Long Goals. When your personal goals give to your subconscious mind, it will work night and day to achieve them. Also, visualization Technic and Affirmation help to outcomes your desire.
“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.” Andrew Carnegie

Life is all about change, learning how to embrace the line between surrender and discipline it and find the opportunities within. Learning is key to the process.
I describe myself as a humanist and realist with lots of random emotions. As a humanist, I believe in the potential of every single human being. As a realist, I see what we make out of that potential.
“If you celebrate your differentness, the world will, too. It believes exactly what you tell it — through the words you use to describe yourself, the actions you take to care for yourself, and the choices you make to express yourself.” Victoria Moran
I keep wondering if anyone is listening to my stories, but it doesn’t matter. This is probably the hardest part for anyone writing about itself. I’m going to keep writing them.
