The Essence of Pure Love
A poem explores the concept of pure, unconditional love and how it can be diluted by expectations and external properties. It emphasizes the importance of trust, respect, and kindness in relationships and the enduring nature of true love.
Pure Love, Untainted and True
In my view, true love is like pure water,
Tasteless, odorless, it satisfies like no other.
It quenches thirst, same for all,
Pure love is not dependent on our call.
Yet, my perspective on love is slightly different,
Perhaps broader, but not indifferent.
For me, true love is inner freedom,
A state of being where love is not bound by conditions.
To love from a place of freedom means,
You don’t need people to be a certain way to love them,
You feel enough, and not bound by lack or insufficiency,
You’re at ease, expressing love without any anxiety.
Unconditional love is the fruit of this freedom,
Where kindness, trust, and respect are given without reason.
Love flows like a river, boundless and pure,
