On Your Mark, Get Set,
Catch Me If You Can!
Mom, a race? You must be kidding!
No way! he cried, his face all broken.
What if I fall? That could be wild!
She laughed and said, Oh, my brave little sweet!
Courage is running, even when it’s tough,
You’ve got this, kid! You’re strong enough!
He clung to her leg, doubt in his eyes,
If I go alone, I might be the prize!
So Mom made a plan, quick and bright,
She dashed off the track, full of delight!
Catch me if you can! she yelled with joy,
Run with me, and you’ll feel free!
He ran after her, a grin on his face,
Finding his courage, he picked up the pace!
With each little step, his fears got small,
Until he crossed the finish line, proud and tall!
Mom winked and said, with a big happy grin,
Being brave is fun; let the adventure begin!
