Learning for Sale
The Classroom’s gone corporate , now it’s a Cashroom!
Imagine a place where kids grow wise,
Where books are open and big dreams rise.
Where learning is bright, and hearts are light,
And wisdom takes flight, morning to night.
But here we are in a strange old game,
Where school’s a business , what a shame!
In a perfect world, school would be grand,
Where knowledge and kindness walk hand in hand.
But now some schools have a funny style,
Where teaching’s done pay as you file.
Want to teach? Just sign the sheet,
No skills needed, just a payment receipt!
Money rolls in, while minds go astray,
Learning’s lost in the profits’ way.
A teacher’s job? To shape the soul,
To guide young hearts, make them whole.
But in fancy suits, with money in view,
Some schools forget what teachers should do.
What’s the use of teaching all day,
If kids’ dreams don’t grow in the right way?
A bad teacher sticks like gum on a shoe,
Leaving kids lost, unsure what to do.
A good teacher’s a bridge, wise people say,
But a broken bridge leads dreams away.
With the wrong guide, kids lose the track,
Wandering off with heavy packs.
In a world where degrees are sold like shoes,
Knowledge gets lost in the profit’s blues.
They say education’s the key to success,
But with price tags on wisdom, it’s anyone’s guess!
