Faith and Choice

Western Feminism vs. Islamic Feminism

In this world, choices pull at me,

Western thoughts, Eastern roots, I see.

“My body, my choice,” people say,

But deep inside, I ask, is there another way?

Is freedom in the clothes I wear,

Or in the peace I find in prayer?

Is strength in what I control,

Or in the quietness of a humble soul?

The world shouts loudly to be free,

But inside, I search for what’s true for me.

What is freedom? What is right?

Without faith’s guidance, I lose sight.

Islam shows a shining path,

With wisdom, balance, no wrath.

It’s not a fight between woman and man,

But harmony in Allah’s perfect plan.

Freedom isn’t wanting all,

But finding peace in answering Allah’s call.

Modesty isn’t a heavy chain,

It’s honor, it’s peace, not pain.

The Prophet said with wisdom clear,

“Women are equal, their value dear.”

With faith, they rise, with grace so strong,

Honored by Allah, all along.

My body is a trust from above,

A special gift, a sign of love.

It’s not just my choice alone,

But Allah’s guidance, firmly shown.

The Quran speaks, its words are true,

For women’s safety, respect too.

Modesty shields, it doesn’t bind,

In it, true strength you’ll find.

As I walk, I start to see,

Freedom comes with humility.

Rights and roles fit like a key,

Faith and purpose set me free.

In the end, it’s not just mine,

It’s a soul’s journey, so divine.

Peace is found when I align,

With Allah, whose light will always shine.
